The textile is handmade by 100% non-toxic screen printing paste from red algae. The species is usually used as a nutritional additive in the food industry.

As a natural pigment the color is wash fast in handwash and gradually changes as a 'living color' from red to orange.

In collaboration with IKEA's Greenhouse project Studio Blond & Bieber developed a DIY method for its production.
